SoilHive Release | Online Webinar

A new open infrastructure for soil data.

On 20 August, the Varda Foundation with its partners Norad - Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation and Landscape Alliance | CIFOR-ICRAF will make the code of the new SoilHive release publicly available, developed with the contribution of four partner countries: Kenya, Ghana, Malawi, and Tanzania.

SoilHive becomes a fully open-source application, laying the foundation for a federated architecture that will keep soil data locally managed while making it globally discoverable and easier to use.

The session will explore how this shared infrastructure can support soil health management, scientific research, policymaking, and the development of innovative data-driven services.
