A GLOBAL COALITION TO IMPROVE SOIL HEALTH
The main objective of the Coalition of Action 4 Soil Health (CA4SH) is to improve soil health globally.
We take a foundational and proactive approach to addressing food and nutrition security, climate change, socioeconomic returns and growth, productivity, rural livelihoods, biodiversity, climate and nature.
The glaring need for a focus on soil health as part of food systems transformation was brought to light during the UN Food Systems Summit in 2021.
Globally, we are at a crossroads.
We need to ensure that the pathway to achieving soil health addresses the multiple barriers obstructing farmers and land managers.
Healthy soil practices will improve ecosystem functions for agricultural, rangeland, wetland and forest systems for many years to come.
We aim to guide and catalyse public and market-based private sector investments in soil health.
