Here some details in short:

In the first part of this Knowledge Nugget, we will look back at the joint work between CA4SH, ProSoil, and Soil Matters to bring the topic of soil to COP30 and the outcomes of this collaboration. We will also explore the SOILution website (GIZ SOILutions — Coalition of Action for Soil Health) we launched together, where you can find many useful resources on soil.

In the second part of this Knowledge Nugget, we will reflect on a gender analysis conducted in our Soil Matters project and discuss more broadly the challenges and opportunities that the International Year of Women Farmers may bring in relation to women, soil health, and agriculture.

We are looking forward to welcoming all of you to this Knowledge Nugget and encourage you to forward this invitation to interested team members and partners as well.

What is a Knowledge Nugget and why should I participate?

The Knowledge Nuggets series was designed to spark transnational and international knowledge exchange and learning. Each session is connecting you directly with experts to discuss proven approaches, experiences, and lessons learned to promote soil health globally.

The sessions features a short expert presentation followed by an interactive Q&A, giving you the chance to engage directly with experts or practitioners and get answers to the questions that matter most to you.

Couldn’t make it live? No worries — the session will be recorded and shared afterwards.
