GLOBAL YOUTH PRIORITY 8
Secure Youth Access to Land and Tenure Rights for Soil Health
Young people often struggle to access affordable, secure land. High land prices, unclear tenure systems, land grabbing, and lack of long-term access to finance prevent youth from applying and investing in healthy soil practices, as the future of their land rights are uncertain, and they are unsure if they will benefit from their investments in time and resources.
Without affordable, secure access to productive land, it becomes nearly impossible for young people to sustain livelihoods or improve soil health at scale.
