Centre Gender Equality and Inclusion of All Young People in Soil Health Action 

Across regions, young people, and in particular girls, young women, Indigenous youth, rural youth, youth refugees, and other marginalized youth, face systemic barriers that limit their ability to engage fully in soil health efforts. Unequal access to land, training, finance, technology, decision-making spaces, and leadership opportunities restricts their capacity to adopt healthy soil practices, lead initiatives, and influence decisions that affect their livelihoods and communities.

Young people envision a soil health movement that is inclusive, just, and grounded in equitable access to resources, representation, and support.

Advancing gender equality and social inclusion is essential to ensure that all young people, regardless of gender, identity, culture, or background, can participate meaningfully and lead soil health efforts.
