At the 11th Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goal,  the World Food Forum (WFF) Global Youth Action Initiative led by FAO’s Office of Youth and Women (OYW), convenes young farmers, innovators, researchers, youth leaders and policymakers to shape youth‑driven priorities for smart farming and digital agriculture.

The session will feature high‑level remarks, including high-level remarks by Portugal, welcoming remarks by the FAO Chief Scientist, expert inputs, and an interactive youth consultation to identify policy actions enabling youth‑led and gender‑responsive innovation in agrifood systems.

Outcomes and youth‑led recommendations will feed into the Global Conference on Smart Farming (FAO, July 2026) and contribute to broader Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Forum discussions.
