THE RESTORATION GENERATION: If soil changes everything, who will change how we treat it?
Following our inaugural conversation, Why Soil Changes Everything, we are taking the conversation forward moving from why soil matters to what it will take to restore it.
Soil is foundational to our food, water, climate, biodiversity and livelihoods. Yet restoring it cannot be the responsibility of farmers or scientists alone.
What would it take for our generation to become a generation of restoration?
Join us as we explore three interconnected questions:
EDUCATION: What do we need to learn?
GOVERNANCE: What needs to change?
PRACTICE: What does restoration actually look like?
The conversation will begin with “Why Soil?”, grounding us in the science of soil and its role in the systems that sustain us, before moving into education, governance and practice.
