Biochar field trials are taking place across many regions, but the resulting data remains fragmented, difficult to access, and rarely comparable across projects. This slows learning, increases the cost of experimentation, and limits the ability of producers and companies to make informed decisions.
The Biochar Resilience Network has created a pre-competitive Data Commons where anonymised results from biochar field trials are shared and compared across geographies, feedstocks, and production systems.
