Youth4Soil Implementation Guide: Call for Stories and Examples
Background
The Youth4Soil Manifesto, launched on World Soil Day 2025, calls for practical resources to support youth and partners in implementing its priorities. The Implementation Guide is one of those resources: a co-developed, evidence-based guide organized around the Manifesto's 8 global youth priorities, drawing directly on the experiences of young people and organisations working on soil health across regions.
How to Contribute
We are collecting stories, examples, and case studies from young people and organizations whose work addresses one or more of the Manifesto's 8 priorities:
Strengthen Soil Literacy and Practical Youth Education
Support Youth-led Innovation, Research, Technology, and Soil Data
Ensure Meaningful Youth Participation in Soil Governance and Decision-Making
Strengthen Youth Capacity, Training, and Technical Support
Protect and Promote Indigenous and Local Knowledge and Practices
Expand Youth Access to Finance and Investment for Soil Health
Advance Gender Equality, Social Equity, and Inclusive Participation
Improve Youth Access to Land and Secure Tenure
How will submissions be used?
Selected submissions will contribute to one or more of the following:
The Youth4Soil Implementation Guide: a practical, co-developed resource to support Manifesto implementation across contexts
The CA4SH website: featured in the Youth in Action case studies library, organized by priority and region
National, regional, and global advocacy: demonstrating the breadth and depth of youth-led soil health action to policymakers, funders, and partners
All submissions are reviewed by the Youth4Soil team before use. Contributors can choose how their story is credited and where it may appear.
