The University of Kabianga GCSAYN mentees warmly invite you to a Virtual Bamboo Awareness Creation Event on September 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM EAT, in celebration of World Bamboo Day 2025. First established in 2009 by the World Bamboo Organization, this annual day highlights the global significance of bamboo as a resource beneficial to both people and nature. 

Commemorated worldwide through planting, exhibitions, and cultural programs, the 2025 event will be held under the theme “Bamboo for Planet, People, and Climate Solutions.”
