ForestFoods Kenya are raising €200,000 to establish a 10-hectare coastal agroforestry nucleus in Shimba Hills.
Build Kenya’s First Regenerative Coastal Spice Corridor
The crops people love should not come at the cost of forests.
Cocoa, vanilla, coffee, spices, fruits and nuts are some of the world’s most valued ingredients. Too often, they are grown in ways that reduce biodiversity, weaken soils and leave farming communities with less resilience over time.
ForestFoods was created to show that there is another way.
We design and build regenerative agroforestry systems that grow high-value crops within living ecosystems. These systems are designed to improve soil health, bring biodiversity back into the landscape and create better long-term production for farmers and landowners.
This work is already underway.
Over the last 10 years, ForestFoods has built and operated real farming systems in Kenya. That includes:
2 certified organic farms in operation
3,000+ farmers trained across multiple regions
Production systems supplying real markets
Measured improvements in soil biology and ecosystem health
We are now ready to take the next step.
