The British Society of Soil Science has officially launched the 2025 Annual Conference. Tickets are on sale now for the event, which will be in Manchester in December. The programme includes sessions on global policy, EU Missions, regenerative agriculture, disruptive technologies, microbiology, art and culture, biodiversity net gain, and flood mitigation. There will also be an invited lecture from Prof. Pete Smith.
The conference will take place from Wednesday 3 – Friday 5 December in Manchester. The overall conference theme is Resilient Soils for a Sustainable Future. The packed multi-disciplinary event spanning the built, natural environment and agricultural sectors, set at King's House Conference Centre, will provide delegates with a fantastic opportunity to see the latest research and developments within soil science.
Call For Abstracts
BSSS is currently accepting oral and poster abstracts for both our Annual Conference and Early Careers Conference in December. The abstract review panel is accepting abstracts in one of five topics linked to the conference theme.
