Hosted by the Herding for Health (H4H), a joint initiative between Conservation International and Peace Parks Foundation, in partnership with GIZ, CCARDESA, and Meat Naturally, this webinar forms part of a broader series convened in celebration of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists 2026.
The session will bring together experts from research and implementation to explore how improved livestock management practices can enhance rangeland health, protect biodiversity, and support the communities who steward these ecosystems. Panellists from BirdLife Africa, CIFOR-ICRAF, CGIAR-ILRI, and CI Botswana will share real-world case studies, discuss biodiversity and ecosystem services, and highlight conservation approaches, including H4H as a model for advancing livestock management and restoring rangelands.
